An internal collection of our best developments, Project Hyena; The Data Scavenger - serves as an interface between the physical and virtual world.
A fully functional heads up display [HUD] for a virtual reality headset that allows the user to access live 360° camera streams, translates voice into six languages in real-time, is fully interactive with hand tracking, contains live data features like temperature readings, time display and the ability to connect to real world hardware through Arduino.
Hyena is a modular interface that can be deployed across a multitude of sectors from security and safety to healthcare and logistics.

Real-time external temperature monitors as well as time, date and location display are the basis for external world data
integration into Hyenas’ HUD interface. Hyena is ready to be linked with any industry 4.0 data set for visualisation.
MICRO-CONTROLLER
INTEGRATION
Hyena is able to access external systems like microcontrollers and switches. Influencing real world devices means Hyena is in full control of linked hardware systems, power them on or off at the touch of a button.

Wearable mixed reality is rapidly downscaling its form factor and pushing peripheral fields of view [FOV] thus expanding exciting new potential for menu design and information display.
As these technologies integrate into the workplace and our everyday lives, design will be a key part of how we interact and consume modern data. Project Hyenas' interface will evolve and become more volumetric as a new piece of technology is added.
